Media Converter-RS 485 to Ethernet
"Netex-100" is a device, which works on the TCP/IP protocols and can be directly connected to the nearest port of the Hub. Basic functionality of this device is to convert the Ethernet frames to proprietary RS-485 protocol. Set up is fast and simple. An RJ-45 connector is used to connect to the 10-Base-T/100 MBPS network wiring. Networking flexibility is maximized because multiple CMS Time-OLog/ Access Control readers can be connected by RS-485 to a terminal using the Ethernet module. This allows for a remote location with up to 8 nos. of terminals to communicate with the host (PC where Datalog Plus Communication s/w is installed) via a single Ethernet connection.
