Pedestrian Access System (PAS)

PAS is an audio and tactile system, that gives accessible crosswalks and helps to make roads pedestrian friendly. This is designed with audio indications as support for visually challenged users. This unit is feather in cap for CMS as exported to Latin America GUYANA as a part of infrastructure revamp for Cricket World Cup - 2007.

Pedestrian Access System is housed in a compact controller box & fitted on the pole, situated at the side of road. Person who wants to cross road, has to give request by pressing push button. Request gets accepted from PAS by giving a single beep and it controls the LED graphics for WALK and STOP indications. As well as it generates various tones for Pedestrians crossing road.
