Red Light & Speed Enforcement System

CMS Traffic Systems leads the industry with the advanced Red-light camera & Speed Enforcement Systems. It combines advanced video-detection technology with roadside video cameras to provide intersection monitoring for red light violation enforcement and improved intersection safety.

Camera features include the automatic recording of progressive colour digital images providing conclusive evidence of the infringement including the red light time and other details necessary for prosecution. Security protection of stored images is provided at the moment of capture on a WORM (Write Once Read Many) optical cartridge. Colour prints of the infringement may be produced using a digital printer as required.

The camera is housed in a permanent enclosure at dangerous intersections. Statistics show that driver behavior and violation patterns are almost immediately modified once the system is installed. To maximize efficiency and leverage cost effectiveness of an automated traffic enforcement system, cameras can be rotated from site to site.
