E - Learning
CMS eLearning solution is an Integrated Online Interactive Solution which compromises of three modes of learning.
- Self paced - The students learn at their own speed through online learning management system (LMS) or Offline mode
- Synchronized - Students learn through Online Interactive eLearning (LVC)
- Asynchronized - where students get to chat with SME or email
Additionally, we are also pioneers in the e-classroom concept with expertise in setting up cost-effective, robust and cutting-edge electronic classrooms that reach out a large distant audience.
E-learning applications and processes include Web-based learning, computer-based learning, virtual classroom opportunities and digital collaboration. The field of TEL therefore applies to the E-learning is naturally suited to distance learning and flexible learning, but can also be used in conjunction with face-to-face teaching, in which case the term Blended learning is commonly used.
One of the recent huge Project undertaken by us is the NPTEL. The main objective of NPTEL program is to enhance the quality of engineering education in the country by developing curriculum based video and web courses. This is being carried out by seven IITs and IISc Bangalore as a collaborative project. In the first phase of the project, supplementary content for 129 web courses in engineering/science and humanities have been developed. Each course contains materials that can be covered in depth in 40 or more lecture hours. In addition, 110 courses have been developed in video format, with each course comprising of approximately 40 or more one-hour lectures. In the next phase other premier institutions are also likely to participate in content creation.
